Cheerleading
The New Egypt Youth Cheer program has no residency requirements to participate.
Accepting children Kindergarten- 8th grade.
Cheer registration is $200.
Players and their families must:
- Complete application and sign releases.
- Read the code of conduct (acknowledged during registration).
- Provide a physical clearance form or a letter from your pediatrician stating clearance to play.
Ages
Grades Kindergarten to 8th grade.
When
Beginning of August through early/mid-November.
Practices
During the month of August practice is 3 times a week. Once school starts practice will be coaches discretion.
Practice Location and Time is TBD.
Games
Regular season consists of 8 games.
Typically, 4 home games and 4 away games.
Games are held on Saturday or Sunday.
Uniforms
Uniforms are provided by the league.
*Extra fee for lost or broken bows.
When picking up uniforms a check is required and should be written to NEYFC for $200 dated November 1, 2026. Checks WILL NOT be cashed unless uniforms are not returned or missing parts.
Work Bond
Work Bond is a volunteer work program for families, requiring 4 hours of work per family for the season. There’s an option to buy out the requirement for $250. If you are not doing the buy-out option, a check must be written to NEYFC and will only be cashed if the required hours are not completed. This check will be required the same day as uniform and equipment pickup. If you do not hand in the work bond AND equipment bond checks, your child will not be able to pick up their uniform.
